The average length of a Meridian contracting assignment can range from six to 24 months, but the length of any assignment will vary based on the client’s needs. Our team of experienced staffing professionals will work with you to place you in a position that fits your short- and/or long-term goals.

In addition, our onboarding process incorporates a web-based self-service HRIS (Human Resource Information System) provided by another industry-leading provider, Paylocity, for your payroll, benefits and human-resource needs. All of these technologies are available through any standard web browser and are also mobile ready.

To ensure that employers and job seekers are matched for success, we’ve created a recruiting process designed to quickly evaluate and deliver the right technologically skilled job seeker each employer is looking for.
Meridian W2 consultants are paid bi-weekly based on hours worked for our clients. Direct deposit is available, of course. If you are a subcontractor, please discuss pay issues directly with your employer. Corp.-to-corp. consultants submit invoices monthly and are paid within 30 days of receipt of the invoice for all hours worked and upon client approval of those hours.
Most Meridian positions are open to any individual who is authorized to work in the United States. This includes candidates with valid employment authorization documents (EAD), permanent-resident cards and others as included on the employment eligibility verification I-9 form. Some positions do require candidates to be United States citizens; particularly opportunities with our clients who contract with the federal government or clients identified as federal contractors.

Many positions begin as contract assignments and convert to permanent opportunities directly with the client. This allows both you and the client to determine if a good job fit has occurred. Some positions may remain as “contract” for an extended period of time. Of course we will. The most important thing to remember is to stay in touch with your recruiter and keep him or her updated on your status. Communication is key! Be sure to contact your Meridian recruiter approximately six weeks before the expiration of your current contract so we have sufficient time to identify new opportunities for you.
