Frequently Asked Questions
Here are a few of our most frequently asked questions.
Meridian Staffing is committed to building long-lasting relationships with our clients. We understand the importance of trust and integrity when you are selecting a partner. Our team of staffing professionals will work together with you and your team to determine your business needs. We will also work at your pace and at your direction. In short, we are committed to quality in everything we do, and we place a high value on the satisfaction of our clients and our candidates.
Our process begins with establishing and maintaining a strong relationship with you so that we have a solid understanding of your organization and your needs. This includes not only your technical requirements but also the overall business fit for your department and your organization. We want to ensure that the candidates Meridian submits for your consideration will be both technically qualified and a good fit for your organization’s culture. A dedicated business-development manager will be assigned to your company to help with all of your needs and concerns.
By keeping a close relationship with our clients and partnering with your managers, we’ve reduced the amount of time it takes to get a job seeker on board. This gives employers a competitive edge by increasing the “speed to market” for their projects.
Meridian solves our clients’ problems, providing help with all of their information-technology staffing needs. This includes but is not limited to program/project managers, business analysts, developers, testers, and much more.
No. We can help you with your contract, contract-to-hire and permanent-placement need.
We support all domestic U.S. locations. Our recruiters are skilled in finding qualified candidates in any location, even if Meridian does not have a local presence in that market.
Yes. In fact, our screening is based on your requirements. Services include Social Security number verification, criminal checks (county, state, federal and international), education verification, employment verifications and credit checks. If your company does not have specific requirements for background or drug screening, Meridian still does its own checks.
Yes. Meridian will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each new employee’s Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
To determine whether Form I-9 documentation is valid, Meridian uses E-Verify’s photo matching tool to match the photograph appearing on some permanent-resident cards, employment-authorization cards, and U.S. passports with the official U.S. government photograph. E-Verify also checks data from driver’s licenses and identification cards issued by some states.
IMPORTANT: If the government cannot confirm that you are authorized to work, Meridian is required to give you written instructions and an opportunity to contact DHS and/or the SSA before taking adverse action against you, including terminating your employment.
The Meridian Recruiting Center (MRC) is staffed by teams of recruiters that work exclusively on Managed Service Provider (MSP) requisitions. We understand the need for clients to implement MSPs and vendor-management systems and have created the MRC in response to these needs.
MRC client-delivery managers are tasked with developing relationships with the vendor-management offices to ensure that processes are being followed and that established staffing metrics are being met. MRC recruiters are trained to serve our MSP clients in accordance with the Service Level Agreements in place. Of course, MRC also strives for speed, efficiency and quality in all candidate submittals.
